Remix
Remix consists of 14 sounds I captured. the premise behind the project was to record 14 sounds of different varieties and play around with them in Ableton to make our first track . this was our intro to sound design and I can say that for me this really was an intro project.
Creating the audio was actually such a struggle for me. I'm really used to being visually inclined rather than musically inclined and that was just the start. the biggest struggle I gave to myself was recording sounds that all have a lower register or are more quiet toned so although there was variety it took a lot of effects to make it sound different. Im really glad I had some help from Pjotr in order to fix a couple of sounds in order to use them for the remix.
Although this may sound like I hated this project it actually was really quite fun to start off with and to create a starting point. I also leathered more about effects and how they can add to or create a new sound. I really took a lot away from this projects and brought it into other projects that used audio.

Feedback + adaptation
The feedback from Pjotr is as follows: "Harmonic material and material create a proper tension that resolves itself through the repetition of the. The samples are well-shaped. Compositional-wise, the use of longer sounds could create an extra layer of tension or release."
I didn't adjust or change the remix because Pjotr said we didn't have to, as the remix is supposed to be seen as the starting point of our journey with the AVD minor and Ableton. Therefore, I didn't make any adaptations or changes.

Research
A lot of the research and knowledge gained to make this project was done in class with Pjotr, as this really an introduction to Ableton. What we learned was a wide range of effects and how they affect. Then, we played around with them to see how they changed our recorded audio.
Pjotr also wanted us to draw the shapes of sounds because sounds actually have shapes. I definitely interpreted this a little differently, as I drew the sounds the way I would see them if were in a line rather than as shapes.
